Level: Software Engineer / J2ME Expert

Location: Bangalore

Total Exp: 2 - 4 years

Responsibilities:

• Assume ownership of all development aspects of the J2ME application.
• Work with Product management to understand and refine functional enhancements and new features.
• Address list of bugs and feature enhancements.
• Update documentation to reflect your designs and implementations.
• Work with Operations to ensure operational process integrity.
• Work with QA to review test cases to ensure robust releases to production and participate in the complete development lifecycle.

Qualifications & Education Requirements: BE/B.Tech/MS/M.Tech/MCA/M.Sc.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong UI design & Coding capabilities using JavaME
• Porting to mass market devices
• OTA configuration skills
• Strong foundation and in-depth technical knowledge network security, authentication, session management and security protocols, applied cryptography, standard cryptographic toolkits and hardware security modules
• Real-time Experience in Finance/Banking/Mobile/Security domain
• First-hand experience with UI development, touch screen based applications, communication with server.
• Experience with various tools such as CVS, Subversion, Clear Case, eclipse, BlackBerry JDE etc.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment.
• Understanding of full product/solution development life cycle, specifically RUP methodology.
